Barbering at Total Nails & Hair Academy

Our Barber Program is designed to give the student an introduction to the theory and concept of responsible hair and scalp care. The program is practically oriented to build within the student a foundation of useful skills that will enable the student to compete in a professional job market.

Students will learn various hair shaping techniques including the proper usage of scissors, razors and thinning shears. Chemical services such as permanent waving, permanent and semi-permanent hair coloring, hair lightening and hair relaxing will be covered in depth. The importance of proper disinfection techniques will be emphasized.

Passge of a State Board Test is required for licensure. Financing is available.
