Cosmetology at Total Nails & Hair Academy

Our cosmetology program is designed to give the student an introduction to the theory and concept of responsible hair and scalp care. The program is practically oriented to build within the student a foundation of useful skills that will enable the graduate to successfully compete in a professional job market.

Students will learn various hair shaping techniques including proper usage of scissors, razors and thinning shears. Chemical services such as permanent waving, permanent and semi-permanent hair color, hair lightening and hair relaxing will be covered in depth. The importance of proper disinfection techniques will be emphasized.
